On April 3, nine members of the Blackbird Review staff attended a Minds-On Workshop at the Carey Institute for Global Good. The topic of the conference was on journalism in the age of fake news. The students attended various workshops taught by local media professionals such as Paul Grondahl, Joe Donahue, and Chris Churchill. The conference was particularly well received by the staff.
