From the Editor
Welcome to the spring edition of The Blackbird Review! This edition is lled with many amazing works written by talented authors. As the school year comes to a close and summer rapidly approaches there is plenty of time for reading! I am honored to have been a part of The Blackbird Review edit- ing sta . This was the rst year we had a magazine published in many years. We have made so much progress as a club this year and I am proud to have been a part of it.
If you like to write, or even like to edit, I would highly recommend checking out our club and even joining! It is our goal to encourage more students to write and publish their work. I hope you enjoy this edition and have a great summer. Best of luck to my fellow editors next year and thank you for this amazing opportunity!
Enjoy!

A Word from Mr. Stumbaugh
I would like to take a brief moment to thank and congratulate our superinten- dent, Doctor Teresa Thayer Snyder, on her retirement. It is only through her vision and support of the arts that the resurrection of this magazine was pos- sible, and we thank her for that and wish her all of the best in her retirement.
