Welcome to 2017-2018
The new school year is upon us and the Blackbird Review is open for business! We are now accepting submissions of poetry, fiction, essays, and digital art. So head on over to our submission manager and send us your best work.
We have some changes this year!
Lindsey Odorizzi takes over as our Editor-in-Chief, and Sam Jasinski moves to the Assistant Editor position.
We also are looking to expand our offerings by featuring musicians and artists here at Clayton A. Bouton in a monthly feature, dive into the middle school and publish some “Voices from the Middle,” continue our writers club, and explore the world of video by developing a YouTube channel to showcase some great video work!
Lastly, look for our display in the glass case outside of room 124 this year. We will be filling it with all kinds of cool things from our features (think art and photography)!
Oh, and we always have room for writers! If you’d like to join us as a staff writer, podcaster, blogger, or videographer, we meet every third Thursday in room 124.
